Clinical Supervisor
Amethyst Centre Ottawa is looking for an experienced clinical supervisor in the Ottawa area to offer support to our treatment team therapists. This is a contract position for monthly clinical supervision sessions with our team of therapists and also requires additional casual availability for support between scheduled monthly sessions. Volunteer with our Board of Directors
Our board is a dynamic and incredible group of volunteers who support the organization in a variety of capacities.
Serving on the Board of Directors is a meaningful opportunity to contribute to the direction and impact of the Amethyst Centre in Ottawa. Most roles require a commitment of approximately 3–5 hours per week, including meetings, preparation, and ongoing communication. During peak periods, such as collective bargaining or major initiatives, Board member engagement may increase to approximately 5–10 hours per week, depending on committee involvement or Board position.
All Board members share a collective responsibility for fundraising activities, contributing their time, networks, and skills in ways that align with their capacities and support a collaborative, values-driven culture of resource stewardship for the organization.
Currently, we are looking for individuals with human resources experience, financial experience, experience with labor relations in a unionized environment, and fundraising experience.

As a small agency, we have a limited number of student placements in order to ensure quality experiences. We typically accept applications for full-time placements from September-December and January-April.
