Fundraising

Although the majority of our funding is provided by the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care, we are still underfunded in many areas and in various programs. Therefore, like many not-for-profit organizations, we increasingly rely on the generosity of donors to help fill the financial gaps in our budget. To make a donation, please click here.

We are thankful that the Shoppers Drug Mart’s Tree of Life fundraising campaign, which raises funds to support Women’s Health charities in Ottawa, includes Amethyst. The annual Tree of Life campaign consists in donating to organizations that focus on women’s health in their communities. Each store’s Associate-owner selects a local women’s health charity deemed especially in need of assistance. This year, three Ottawa-area Shoppers Drug Marts  have chosen the Amethyst Woman Addiction Center / Health Promotion Programs as their target charity. These Shoppers Drug Marts are located at :

  • 2148 Carling Avenue in Ottawa
  • 5230 Mitch Owen Road, in Manotick
  • 647 Earl Armstrong Road In Kanata
