Although the majority of our funding is provided by the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care, we are still underfunded in many areas and in various programs. Therefore, like many not-for-profit organizations, we increasingly rely on the generosity of donors to help fill the financial gaps in our budget. To make a donation, please click here.
We are thankful that the Shoppers Drug Mart’s Tree of Life fundraising campaign, which raises funds to support Women’s Health charities in Ottawa, include Amethyst. The annual Tree of Life campaign consists in donating to organizations that focus on women’s health in their communities. Each store’s Associate-owner selects a local women’s health charity deemed especially in need of assistance. This year, 11 Ottawa Shoppers Drug Marts have chosen the Amethyst Woman Addiction Center / Health Promotion Programs as their target charity.
